Alliance for Development (AFD) is an indigenous non-governmental humanitarian organization working with poor and marginalizes groups in development for self-reliance. AFD was established in 1994. Until the end of 2003, AfD was called Women Aid Ethiopia (WAE). Its name has now been changed to Alliance for Development (AfD).
